Site work for a water / sewer project in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received for Contract No. 2026-01 Melvin Drive Storm Sewer Relocation. Equipment and services to be provided shall be according to the specifications on file at KLH ENGINEERS, INC., 5173 Campbells Run Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 15205, and at the Borough Office. All plans and specifications are available online at no cost. Contractor shall submit an E-Verify Program Verification in compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act 127 of 2012. A certified check payable to the Borough of West Mifflin or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. The successful bidder shall provide a performance surety in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Borough of West Mifflin reserves the right to award or to reject any and/or all portions thereof proposals submitted, and to waive informalities in the bidding process if in the best interest of the authority. --The project consists of storm sewer system repairs and replacement. The project is located in West Mifflin Borough, Allegheny County. The work under Contract No. 2026-01 generally involves all of the work referenced in the contract included in plan drawings and in these specifications. The work involves but may not be limited to: 1. Catch Basin Installation 2. Traditional storm sewer installation and manholes (trench method) 3. Jack and Bore for storm sewer road crossing. 4. Surface restoration inclusive of milling and paving of borough streets. 5. Property Restoration Completion- (60) calendar days Question Deadline 02/25/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the "Messages/Vendor Discussions" feature in PennBid no later than five (5) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
