Sealed bids will be received for Contract No. 2026-01 Melvin Drive Storm Sewer Relocation. Equipment and services to be provided must follow the specifications available at KLH Engineers, Inc. and the Borough Office, with plans and specifications also available online at no cost. Bids must include an E-Verify Program Verification in compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act 127 of 2012. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Borough of West Mifflin or a bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved surety company, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The awarded bidder must provide a performance surety for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Borough reserves the right to award or reject any or all portions of the proposals and to waive informalities in the bidding process if in the best interest of the authority. All qualified bidders are encouraged to submit a proposal, and the Borough is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Designation of Work The work included under this contract covers the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete the work as described herein, shown on the Contract Drawings and necessary for complete operating facilities. The work under Contract No. 2026-01 generally consists of catch basin installation, installation of storm sewer piping and manholes, road restoration and other general property restoration.
