Sealed bids will be received for the Partial Interior Renovation of Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority. The contractor is required to commence work at the time stipulated in the Notice to Proceed and to fully complete by September 25, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on-site, and attendance is required for bidders to qualify. Before the Notice to Proceed, a mandatory preconstruction meeting attended by the Owner, Architect, and Contractor is also required. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the contract amount. The successful bidder must furnish a Labor & Material Bond and a Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount, and Proof of Insurance. Bidders must pay not less than minimum salaries and wages as established by the US Department of Labor (Davis Bacon) and ensure non-discrimination in employment. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided and clearly marked as SEALED BID with the project title. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days from the opening date. Bidders must also submit a completed non-collusion affidavit and other required signature documents contained in the contract documents.
