The work involves the following projects at the Allegheny County Airport: rehabilitating Taxiways D, E, and F (Project 40G1-26), rehabilitating the Lower West Hangar Aprons (Project 40G2-26), and rehabilitating the Upper West Hangar Aprons (Project 40G3-26). Attention is drawn to the requirement that not less than the minimum salaries and wages, as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, must be paid. Proposals must be submitted using the Authority's form and in accordance with the plans, specifications, and instructions to bidders. There is a non-refundable charge for the bid documents and plans. The project contains DBE participation goals, and DBE firms must be certified with the Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program prior to award of contract. The Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw a bid for sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
