Renovation of an educational facility in Wheatfield, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are being accepted for the Kankakee Valley Intermediate & Middle Schools HVAC project. All bidding and construction are to be in accordance with construction documents prepared by Barton-Coe-Vilamaa, Architect and Engineers, Inc. Bidders are required to submit a certified check or Bid Bond for at least five percent (5%) of their maximum bid. Successful bidders must furnish an approved Performance Bond, a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond, each remaining in effect for twelve months from substantial completion of the work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, provided the bid is reasonable and in the Owner's best interest. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with Indiana Code 36-1-12. Bids not received by the specified deadline will be returned unopened to the bidder. Replacement of the existing chiller with new at Kankakee Valley Intermediate School, along with chilled water pumps, and all temperature controls in the building.
