Sealed bids are solicited for a contract to design and install a chlorine analyzer unit, integrated into existing booster piping, providing up-to-date monitoring of chlorine residual. The system will include a new output-controlled pump with metering capabilities managed by overall output flow, an auto-dialer and cellular alarm callout system, and a relocated chlorine injection point. Bidders must submit proposals on standard forms, enclosed in sealed envelopes with bidder and project name, and include all documents required by the specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to at least 10% of the bid amount (minimum $500, maximum $20,000). An executed consent from an approved New Jersey surety company must be included, agreeing to furnish a performance bond if awarded. The accepted bidder must sign a contract within 30 days of the Notice of Award or forfeit their bid security. Award is contingent upon municipal funding and required permits. Bidders must comply with New Jersey Local Public Contract Law, Affirmative Action regulations, and submit a Disclosure Statement listing stockholders.
