Renovation of a transportation facility in Denver, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Reference Number 0000411426 Bid Intent Not Available The project is to renovate the legacy center core restrooms to match the new standard developed for Concourse Expansion Program (CEP) Restrooms and apply the same concepts throughout public facing restrooms on Concourses A, B, C. Project delivery is driven by phasing sequence as no two adjacent restroom sets can be closed at the same time. The existing legacy restrooms are nearly 30 years old, do not provide best level of service to the users, and require substantial levels of maintenance. Restroom renewal has been a goal for DEN for several years, under Vision 100 Pillar - Maintaining What We Have, the renovation will expand new standards already implemented in Concourse Expansion Facilities (Vision 100 Pillar - Growing Our Infrastructure), support DEN Maintenance's standardization of assets, and allow a common systematic approach for maintenance throughout the concourses. The new designs contain visions that improve passenger circulation flow into/out of restrooms, mechanical and electrical plumbing (MEP) systems, wayfinding signage, family rooms, and the availability of baby/adult changing stations. The work will also include associated systems at the level below and above and any restoration/repair work affected by the work.
