Renovation of a library in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 468,998-square-foot, one-story above grade library.
a. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at Main Library, Level 1, 125 West Washington St. Iowa City, 52242. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated 01/30/26. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. d. General Description of Work 1) Project consists of, but not limited to a. Architectural - Select demolition, gypsum walls, flooring, and painting. b. Electrical - General electrical and telecon pathways. c. Mechanical - General modifications. Renovate Room 1020 at the Main Library, University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. The work will be carried out under Project #1138601. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference and site tour to inspect the existing conditions. Bids are to be submitted via Bid Express prior to the specified deadline.
