Renovation of a mixed-use development in Durham, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Provides all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, coordination, and services necessary to correct structural, drainage, fireproofing, roofing, and utility deficiencies across multiple buildings on the Durham VA Medical Center campus. Work includes stabilizing and rebuilding support for Building 8 where the modular structure is improperly resting on a failing brick façade, requiring removal and reconstruction of columns and façade while the building is shored. Restores fireproofing inside Building 1 where it has been removed from steel members. Performs concrete flatwork repairs and site alterations to prevent flooding near Buildings 15 and 5. Corrects drainage issues at the main entrance of Building 1, replaces swales on the north side of the campus, and performs drainage improvements around a high-voltage manhole. Addresses a roofing issue at Building 1s main entrance. Demolishes unused interior water storage tanks in the penthouse. Raises the electrical transformer adjacent to Building 26. The anticipated period of performance is 300 days from the Notice to Proceed, with an estimated construction magnitude between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.
