Site work and paving for a road / highway in Saint Clair, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Work is more particularly described as approximately 26 miles of Chip Seal and Fog Seal on various roads in St. Clair County, Michigan. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable to the St. Clair County Road Commission or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. This work shall be in accordance with the current Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, Standard Plans and Supplemental Specifications. Proposal blanks including supplemental specifications may be obtained at the Bid Express Website. The SCCRC notifies all bidders that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities in any bid and make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County.
