Mitigation of water intrusion at existing exterior wall surfaces and windows involving selective site demolition, cement plaster and concrete wall repairs of cracks and spalls, replacement of existing wood windows with aluminum windows, sheet metal flashing, joint sealants, wall coating systems, interior wood trims and painting, ceiling repairs, and including abatement of hazardous materials. This project will be implemented in two phases. Bid Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the District and conform with the Bid and Contract Documents. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by the required Bid Bond Security, Subcontractors List, Non-Collusion Declaration, Statement of Bidders Qualification, and all items described in the instructions to Bidders. Bidder and its subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage requirements and be registered as required by law. Bidders must possess a Class B, General Building Contractor license with Asbestos and Lead Certification or have a Sub-Contractor with Asbestos and Lead Certification performing the work. Bid Security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal is required. Attendance at the mandatory job walk is required to be eligible to bid. This project will be implemented in two phases. First Phase period shall be during May 1 to December 30, 2026. Second phase shall be during May 3 to August 30, 2027. 2. The Work also includes hazardous material abatement as described and specified in Appendix A of the Project Manual. 3. A Third Phase involves the school auditorium building to address similar plaster and concrete wall repairs of cracks and spalls, sheet metal flashing, joint sealants, wall coating system.
