8% of the final contract sum (net of design LBE participation) must be allocated to CMD-certified LBEs. The Project will include programming, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and activation of capital improvements to keep the Superbay hangar operational and minimize the annual maintenance needs. The design-build contractor will provide design and construction services for the Project, which may include mechanical systems, structural elements, architectural elements, fire life safety systems, roofing systems, building envelope elements, utility infrastructure, and special systems.
