The City and County of San Francisco, acting through the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, is seeking proposals from qualified firms, teams, joint ventures, or other business entities to provide Design-Build services for Contract DB-139R, Transmission Line Clearance Mitigation Moderate and Low Risk. The project involves performing clearance mitigations to spans of existing SFPUC owned and operated 115kV and 230kV overhead power transmission lines that have been identified as non-compliant with California General Order 95 and the National Electrical Safety Code. The Design-Builder will be required to bring these spans into compliance, which may involve site grading, increased conductor tensions, installation of floating dead-end suspension assemblies, tower structure raises, tower replacement, intermediate mid-span tower structures, or other solutions. Each proposer must hold a current, active, and in-good-standing Class A and C-10 California Contractors license at the time of submission. Proposers must submit a completed Minimum Qualifications Application and required attachments. Proposals must be submitted electronically by the specified deadline.
