Reference Number 0000313549 The scope of work consists of the selective interior demolition and removal of all existing building systems, fixtures, and components within the project area including architectural elements, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire suppression, communications, and associated infrastructure to prepare the space for future construction. Work includes the safe disconnection, capping, and removal of services; protection of systems that are to remain active; compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements; dust and occupant protection; and responsible waste management and disposal, including salvage where specified. Contractors must perform demolition in a coordinated, staged, and workmanlike manner, ensuring site safety, minimizing disruption to ongoing building operations, and leaving the area clean, secure, and ready for subsequent redevelopment. Site visit description: Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to denise.sandulak@bgis.com, and on behalf of their authorized representative or their authorized representatives including sub-contractors, to the procurement specialist named in this ITT by the date indicated in item 2.6.15 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder's representative(s) being refused access to the site.* BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. For mandatory site visits, Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda. Bidders cannot use a representative from another Bidder as its authorized representative to attend the site visit All Covid-19 Guidelines must be followed.
