Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Inglewood, California. Completed plans call for site work for a 50,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Inglewood (City) is advancing transit related improvements to address existing and worsening traffic congestion and to improve mobility in advance of the 2028 Olympics. The Manchester and Prairie Parking Lot – Phase 1 Project is included as part of these improvements. As part of this effort, the Manchester and Prairie Parking Lot – Phase 1 Project will convert an existing lot located at 401 South Prairie Avenue, Inglewood, CA, into a paved facility to accommodate pedicabs, shuttle services, and rideshare services (Uber/Lyft) during major events at Sofi Stadium and the Kia Forum. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 50,000 square feet (SF) of paved surfacing, resurfacing approximately 5,400 square feet (SF) of existing roadway along East Nutwood Street, replacing and widening existing sidewalks, and installation of approximately 1,900 linear feet (LF) of conduit for future illumination. The Contractor shall supply and install all contract items conforming to all applicable standards and procedures and meeting all applicable testing and material properties as described by those standards or within this specification, and in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall coordinate this work so as not to interfere with the existing City services. The Work shall also include administration, mobilization & demobilization, acquiring required permits, safety materials and equipment, NPDES compliance, documentation and drawing submittals, and restoration of areas/system/structure, and all other incidentals to complete the project (if required).
