Separate sealed bids are requested for Covington High School, Parking Lot Base Repair, Mill and Overlay, STPSB Project No. 1923. Complete bidding documents can be obtained through Fairway Consulting Engineers or via City Blueprint & Supply Co., or downloaded electronically. A deposit is required for hard copies, refundable as provided by law; electronic downloads are free but printing costs are the responsibility of the bidder. Bidders should obtain documents through official channels to ensure receipt of updates or addenda. All bids must include a bid security equal to five percent of the total bid and must be submitted in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must comply with Louisiana Contractor’s Licensing Law. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site and bidders are strongly urged to attend. Bids may be submitted electronically in accordance with Louisiana law via centralbidding.com. All visitors to St. Tammany Parish Public School campuses must check in at the front office.
