Renovation of an educational facility in Dunlap, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Seeking sealed bids from licensed electrical contractors to replace the existing electrical service/switchgear at Griffith Elementary School. The work includes demolition of existing service equipment and installation of new service components. The successful bidder must provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, and coordination necessary to: remove and dispose of the existing 800-amp electrical service and associated service entrance conductors; furnish and install a new 600-amp main breaker panelboard; reconnect all existing branch circuits to the new panelboard; furnish and install new 350 MCM copper conductors in existing riser conduits for the new panelboard; furnish and install a new panel interior, breakers, and cover for an existing 200-amp panel in the gymnasium. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code, State of Tennessee, and local inspection authority requirements. The project must be fully completed, inspected, and operational during Spring Break, with all utility outages and inspections coordinated within this window. Contractors must be licensed and insured in Tennessee, have relevant experience with school facility service change-outs, and submit proof of insurance and licensure with the bid. Warranty information is also required. Sequatchie County Schools reserves the right to reject or accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the school system.
