Bid proposals will be received for a bridge replacement project on East Valley Road over Barker Branch, Dunlap, Tennessee 37327. Sealed bids should be submitted to the Sequatchie County Highway Department. Contract documents, specifications, and construction plans can only be obtained in electronic PDF format through Hazel Engineering, LLC by providing the company name, license number, expiration date of the license, license classification, company address, phone number, and e-mail address. Only bidders who complete this process and are included on the official list of bidders will be eligible. The official list is maintained solely by Hazel Engineering, LLC. Any bid not meeting these requirements will not be opened. Instructions to bidders require inclusion of the following on the outside of the bid envelope for amounts $25,000 or more: name, license number, expiration date of the license, license classification, bidder address, phone number, e-mail address, owner, and project name. Failure to provide this information will void the bid and it will not be opened or considered. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the instructions. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within 60 days of the actual bid opening date. The owner reserves the discretion to waive informalities or defects and to reject any or all bids.
