Sequatchie County Schools is seeking sealed bids from licensed contractors to replace the commercial fencing at 14999 Rankin Avenue. The project includes demolition and removal of existing fencing. The successful bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, and coordination necessary to complete the project according to State of Tennessee and local inspection authority requirements. Bidders must be licensed and insured in the State of Tennessee, with proof of insurance and licensure required with the bid submission. Warranty information for materials and workmanship must be included. Specifications include approximately 2500 feet of six-foot commercial grade fence with poles, concrete, all associated hardware including a full top rail and three security wires, two 30-foot electrically operated gates with remote phone app based offsite control, one 30-foot manual dual swing gate, and twenty-five remote gate controllers (fobs or app-based via smartphone). The bidder is responsible for correct measurements, with one offset gate entrance on the West side offset eight feet from the current location. An onsite visit is suggested but not required prior to bidding. Sequatchie County Schools reserves the right to reject any bid and accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the school system.
