The project involves updating the HVAC equipment in the Community Center Building. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The awarding body reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities and irregularities, and make awards on bids that furnish the materials and installation. (2)- 10 ton, 11.2 EER/14.8 IEER,Two stage, electric cooling, natural gas heating Roof Top Units (RTU) o (2)- Curb adapters to raise the units up higher per current code requirement. o (2)- Fresh air economizers for fresh air requirement for public buildings and for free cooling during spring, fall and winter cooling demands. o (2)- 3 ton, 13.4 SEER2, single stage air conditioners with matching indoor cased horizontal evaporator coils o (1)- 5 ton, 13.4 SEER2, single stage air conditioner with matching indoor cased horizontal evaporator coil o (2)- 96% AFUE, 2 stage, natural gas furnaces (high fire 60,000 btu, Low fire 45,000 btu) o (1)- 96% AFUE, 2 stage, natural gas furnace (High fire 100,000 btu, Low fire 75,000 btu) o (5)- digital programmable thermostats o (2)- Lockable wire thermostat guards for auditorium area o Supply and return duct modifications and connection to existing duct system o Copper flush kit and connections for split systems o PVC exhaust venting for new furnaces o Removal of existing hanging heaters in the auditorium area. Heating will now be done by the RTU units on the roof o Natural gas piping from hanging heaters to RTU units on the roof. o High and low voltage connections o Condensate drain piping and connections. o Crane rental and rigging for RTU removal and installation o Caps for existing unit heater flue pipes in auditorium.
