Our understanding of the project is based upon PEC, LLC and Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. The project consists of developing approximately 95 acres of land near the future intersection of North 192nd Street and Ida Street in Douglas County, Nebraska for single-family residential development. Mass grading will be required to establish finished grades across the site. According to the Cut & Fill Exhibit prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc., maximum cuts nearing 15.5 feet and maximum fills nearing 22.5 feet will be required in limited areas, with cuts and fills of 4 to 8 feet over a vast majority of the site. No site retaining walls are planned and all slopes are proposed at 3H:1V or flatter. A network of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, gas main, water main, and fiber are anticipated to be installed. The majority of utilities are anticipated to be installed in the upper 10 to 15 feet. A network of interior concrete-paved roadways and sidewalks will also be constructed. Finally, three detention basins are proposed in the northwest, north center, and northeast ends of the site. This work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to install 4-inch conduit by open-cut trenching methods at the locations shown on the plans or as directed by the Engineer. Work includes conduit, bedding, backfill, fittings, pull tape, surface restoration, and protection of existing utilities. Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct a POWER CONDUIT SYSTEM - SECTION I for Sanitary and Improvement District 638, Douglas County, Nebraska, according to the plans and specifications at the specified locations. The work primarily includes mobilization, trench excavation and backfill, installation of various sizes and types of PVC conduit for primary and secondary cables, PVC stubs, vertical risers, communication line ducts, directional boring, installation of transformer box pads, service pedestals, cable pull boxes, pull rope, and tracer wire, with approximate quantities provided for each item. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by SEH Engineers and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than $55,000.00 as security. A contract and maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price is required. Bids will only be accepted from those on the plan holders' lists at the Engineer's office and online at QuestCDN. Bidders must comply with all plans and specifications. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
