Site work for a water / sewer project in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct SANITARY SEWER - SECTION I for Sanitary and Improvement District No. 646 of Douglas County, Nebraska. Work includes connecting to an existing sanitary sewer outfall pipe, constructing 8" and 6" solid wall PVC sanitary sewer pipe, constructing sanitary sewer service risers, manholes (some with HDPE lining), installing external frame seals, constructing concrete manhole ring retainers, removing pipe plugs, constructing external drop connections, trench stabilization with rip-rap, geogrid, geotextile fabric, foundation rock, and installing rolled erosion control with seeding. Quantities for each item are specified, with the engineer's estimate for the work at $1,355,000.00 (excluding certain costs). All proposals must use provided bid forms and be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for no less than $67,750. Bidders must submit proposals in a sealed envelope marked accordingly. Bid security must be in a separate envelope and submitted with the proposal. Proposals received after the deadline will be returned unopened. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder with the lowest acceptable bid, subject to plans, specifications, and applicable law. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities. Plans and specifications are available for purchase and are nonrefundable.
