Site work for a water / sewer project in Godfrey, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work involves the installation of storm sewers, drainage structures, grading, and other related work as further described in the Project Manual. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, a certified check, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company, made payable to the Village of Godfrey, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the sum total of the bid. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in Bids. By submitting a Bid, Bidder agrees that their Bid will not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days except as provided herein, subsequent to the specified time for receipt of Bids and further agrees to the terms and conditions regarding the bidding process. Bids may be withdrawn solely for demonstrated and verifiable clerical or typographical mistake, but not mistake of judgment.
