The work will include: site clearing, earthwork operations, asphalt paving (patchwork), backstop netting and post system, chain link fencing and gates, dugout roofing, bullpen and warning track crushed stone mix, tree and shrub planting, low perennial and groundcover planting, sodded grass and turf seed restoration. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the contractor's name, address, and "Prospect Park Ballfield Renovation." Bidders are required to submit bid security in the amount of 10% of the base bid. The successful bidder must pay at least the Prevailing Rate of Wages according to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, and submit certified payrolls monthly. The Clarendon Hills Park District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive technical errors or omissions. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days after the bid opening without written consent.
