Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Water Meter Replacement. Each bid must include a bid bond, bank draft, or certified check payable to the Village of Western Springs, Illinois, in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500) or 10% of the bid price, whichever is greater. The successful bidder is required to provide payment and performance bonds in the full amount of the bid at the time of contract award. Bidders must comply with all laws, including those related to employment of labor and payment of local prevailing wage rates. Each bidder must satisfy the Village regarding their ability, financial and otherwise, to perform the specified work. The Village reserves the right to reject any bids for any reason, reject nonconforming bids, waive informalities, and make the award to the lowest responsible bidder.
