The project consists of providing all labor and materials for construction of the water main improvements. Major work items include construction of approximately 130 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main installed by trenching, 720 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE water main installed by directional drilling, hydrant, valves and appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bids must be submitted electronically through. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award. The original certified check or bid bond must be delivered within 72 hours of the bid opening. Bidders must provide Proof of Responsibility as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.
