Renovation of an educational facility in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
he successful contractor of this solicitation shall be responsible to provide all labor, materials, equipment and any other resources to complete HVAC replacement project. Installation shall be coordinated with the District's project manager, contact information shall be provided upon final award. The contractor shall provide performance and payment bond in the full amount of the contract sum, issued by a surety company licensed in South Carolina, with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "best's key rating guide, property liability" which shall show a financial strength rating of at least five (5) times the contract amount. Each bond must be accompanied by a "power of attorney" authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety and certified to include the date of the performance bond. Installation must be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications to avoid compromising the manufacturer's warranty. Upon completion of the HVAC replacement systems, all debris must be removed from the site. QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY: January 30, 2026 by 5:00 PM See "Questions from Offeror's provision All questions must be submitted to Robin McNeal, via email, at mcnealr@bcsdschools.net prior to the deadline for questions stated herein. Your offer must include either a bid bond issued by a surety or sureties licensed in South Carolina or a certified check. The amount of surety shall be five per cent (5%) of the total bid amount. This bid bond penalty may be expressed in terms of a percentage of the bid price or may be expressed in dollars and cents. If a certified check is submitted in lieu of a bid bond, it must be made payable to the District. THIS IS AN HVAC REPLACEMENT PROJECT AT BOULDER BLUFF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN GOOSE CREEK, SOUTH CAROLINA. ALL ROOFTOP UNITS WILL BE REPLACED AND ALMOST ALL OF THE UNITS WILL BE INSTALLED ON THE EXISTING CURBS. THE NEW FAU-1 AND FAU-2 ARE A DIFFERENT FOOTPRINT THAN THE EXISTING FAU-1 AND FAU-2 AND WILL REQUIRE NEW STRUCTURAL SUPPORT UNDERNEATH THE UNITS. ALL OF THE THROUGH WALL HEAT PUMPS AND KITCHEN MAKEUP AIR UNIT WILL BE REPLACED AS WELL.
