The work consists of abating and demolishing existing structures on various properties located within the City of Watertown, New York. The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work as shown on the plans and described in the specifications. Demolitions must be priced per property address. The City may award contracts per property rather than as a whole if it is in the City's best interest. Each bidder must deposit security equal to at least five percent (5%) of the bid, in the form and under the conditions specified in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the accepted bid, with an approved surety company. All insurance forms must list the City of Watertown as the certificate holder, be active for the duration of the job, and the insurance carriers must be authorized to do business in New York State.
