The City of Watertown is seeking sealed proposals from qualified tree care professionals for priority tree pruning. The objective is to contract with a qualified vendor to minimize tree-related risks to citizens and property, improve the health and safety of the urban forest, and enhance neighborhoods and parks. Work includes tree pruning, disposal of waste wood, and site restoration if necessary, all conducted according to current ANSI standards for tree care and safety. All proposals must be submitted in three complete sets. Late proposals will not be accepted. The awarded contractor’s skilled personnel must perform all work professionally and according to ANSI-A300 (Pruning) and ANSI-Z133 (Safety) standards. Maintenance activities are to be performed in the street rights of way and other City-owned lands as directed by City staff. The City reserves the right to reject proposals not deemed in the City’s best interest at its sole discretion.
