The Work consists of: Replacement of the electrical service serving MCMS East Brunswick Magnet School including coordination with PSE&G, installation of new switchgear, and backfeeding branch circuits. Sealed proposals are requested for the Electrical Service Replacement at MCMS in East Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. Only contractors with the DPMC Trade Classification C047 Electrical are eligible to bid. Bidders must submit security of not less than 10% of the bid, with a maximum of $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond. All bidders are required to complete a mandatory site inspection, completing the relevant form and securing signature from an owner's representative. Site inspections outside the specified date require prior arrangement. Bidders must comply with all applicable New Jersey statutes and regulations, including Affirmative Action, Prevailing Wage Law, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and are subject to background checks. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bid or all bids, waive minor informalities, or award a lump sum contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder according to the law.
