**As of April 22, 2026, the project was awarded to RP Construction, with an awarded amount of $831,586.67.** Sealed bids are invited for Project No. 2025-749, Capital Project No. 3309, Ham Reid Road Waterline Extension from Elliott Rd. to Big Lake Rd. All bids must be submitted on the proper form, with the contractor's license number displayed on paper bids. Bids received after the specified opening time will not be considered. Contract documents, including drawings and specifications, may be examined at the Engineer's office or obtained for a fee. Electronic copies are available at no cost upon request. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the base bid and all alternates. The bid bond must be from an approved surety or insurance company. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount, from an approved bonding company. Contractors performing Hazardous Materials work must be properly licensed if the work is $1.00 or more; other work requires licensure for $50,000.00 or more. Bids will be evaluated on the lowest responsible bid in compliance with specifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractors must ensure nondiscrimination in employment.
