Major items of work include, but are not limited to: removal and installation of various utilities (such as water mains, sewer pipes, hydrants, manholes, fiber optic cable and vaults, and lighting systems), excavation, embankment, sawing and removal of pavement, curb, gutter, walkways, driveways, installation of aggregate base, concrete and bituminous pavement, construction of retaining walls, drainage structures, installation of signs, lighting, and traffic control devices, landscaping and erosion control including sod, seeding, and stabilization, traffic control, and all related incidental work in accordance with the specifications and bid forms.
