As of April 22nd, 2026. Project has not yet been awarded and a timeline for award has not yet been established. Sealed bids for the construction of the Boat Ramp Construction will be received electronically via PennBid by Montgomery Borough. Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 - General Construction. Bidding and contract documents may be viewed and downloaded online at no cost. The cost of printing bidding and contract documents will be the sole responsibility of the interested party. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the total bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap status and must comply with the Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, and related laws. Montgomery Borough reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids and to award contracts to the lowest responsible bidder.
