Site work for a water / sewer project in Douglas, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of March 12, 2026, an award has not yet been made. Per the owner, bid results will not be made available until after the award is announced. The project is expected to be awarded by next week. Question Deadline 02/20/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Questions to be addressed in the addendum will be received through 5:00 p.m. five (5) business days prior to the bid. Questions related to the project should be directed to Tyler DeNooyer, P.E., at 616-394-0200 or via email at tdenooyer@preinnewhof.com. The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing approximately 142 water service replacements, approximately 18 water service verifications, and approximately 4 water service abandonments, including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Sealed bids are to be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of the Village of Douglas in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after receipt of bids. Contract documents may be examined online or at specified offices. Drawings and specifications are available online or at the office of Prein&Newhof for a fee. The contractor will be required to complete the Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, and Other Responsibility Matters included in Appendix B.
