The project consists of asbestos abatement and demolition and clearance of dilapidated and blighted structures at specified addresses. The scope at each site includes the abatement of identified asbestos containing materials and their disposal at an LDEQ permitted Type I or Type II landfill, as well as demolition, site clearance, and disposal of other structural components and related site improvements that are severely dilapidated and creating blight conditions. All structures have been condemned under the processes of L.R.S.33:4765. Bidders may submit bids for individual sites, multiple sites, or all sites, and the City reserves the right to award contracts in its best interests, either as multiple contracts for specific sites or a single contract for all sites.
