Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Each bid shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and if a corporation, the name and address of the President and Secretary. Each bidder shall require a Certified check, bank draft or acceptable surety bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The Finance Director reserves the right to reject all bids or parts of bids for any one or more supplies or contractual services included in the proposed contract, when the public interest will be served. All work shall be performed as indicated on plans and specification and include every aspect of work as obvious or implied and necessary to make work complete and fuly operational. The general scope of work for this project is as follows: a. Perform any necessary grade work to prepare site for poured-in-place playground surfacing. b. Furnish and install 8" aggregate base with poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing (or equal) according to Manufacturer's guidelines and applicable safety standards. Add Alternate #1: a. Furnish and install 6" wide by 12" deep concrete border around playground as shown on plans. Add Alternate #2: a. Remove existing plastic playground border, mulch, and tree All questions must be made in writing and emailed to Adam Stout, PE at adam.stout@parkersburgwv.gov
