Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Heritage Middle School Roof Replacement in Ringgold, Georgia. A. Replacement of existing roofing system in preparation for entire new roofing system. B. Removal of existing damaged flashing and counterflashings. C. Temporary roofing protection. Plans and specifications are available for inspection at the Central Office of the Board of Education. Electronic contract documents will be issued to general contractors by the architect. Bids must be submitted on the proposal form provided by the architect in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the job and contractor name. Each bid must include a bid bond for 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must execute a contract on the AIA Standard Form and provide performance and payment bonds each for 100% of the contract amount. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities.
