The City of Newnan seeks to expand the LINC trail system. Phase 13 will be built within public Right=of-Way and on City easements. The project is approximately 6,054 linear feet (1.15 miles), and includes a 10' to 12' wide concrete trail, landscape, stormwater improvements, road width and parking reconfigurations, along with bridge structures and retaining walls. Place the Project name and opening date on the submitting envelope or container.Each Bid must be accompanied by a registered cashier's check, bank certified check, or a bid bond prepared on an accepted form, duly executed by the Proposer, with good and sufficient surety or sureties for the faithful acceptance of the contract payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the City of Newnan in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid in U.S. dollars and immediately payable upon forfeiture of bid. The successful Proposer will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond, labor and materials payment bond, and maintenance bond as provided herein. The performance bond (PB) and labor and materials bond (LMB) shall each be in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract Price upon approval of the Newnan City Council. No Proposer may withdraw its bid and must honor its bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
