Sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete roadside tree pruning. The major items of work consist of: providing all traffic control in accordance and compliance with MUTCD and GDOT standards, trimming/pruning overhanging limbs and underbrush using a vertical cut back to the mature existing tree line or right of way within the designated area, and clean-up and removal of all debris. The work is to be done in accordance with detail standards and specifications as specified in the Bid Document. Instructions to bidders include: bids must be clearly marked and sealed, purchased from the Coweta County Public Works Office, and accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. No bid will be accepted from a bidder who has not purchased a set of bid documents from the designated office. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any formality or informality, and to accept any bid which may be in the best interest of the owner. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after bid opening.
