Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of milling approximately 17,000 SY, installing 935 tons of level course, 18,000 SY of 1 wearing course, 975 SY of 4 binder course, 975 SY of 6 subbase, 150 SY of concrete sidewalk replacement, 210 LF of concrete curb replacement, 360 CY of excavation, 2 inlet replacements, and line painting. Bidders are required to comply with Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry. Adherence to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act) is required, with all workers required to have Act 151, Act 34, and FBI clearances. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond amounting to ten percent (10%) of the proposal, payable to the Ligonier Valley School District. The bituminous price index in accordance with PennDOT Form 408 applies to this contract. The Ligonier Valley School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the bid opening date.
