Renovation of a mixed-use development in Palo Alto, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Removal of the existing Top Door Alarm Gen1 system and installation of an updated anti-ligature overhead door alarm system within the Mental Health Inpatient Wings. Work includes providing all labor, materials, alarm devices, horns, flashing strobe lights, sensors, delivery, and all required accessories for a complete retrofit and functioning system designed to detect and notify caregivers of potential acts of self-harm when a door is used as a ligature point. All materials and installation activities are to support a fully operational, upgraded alarm and notification system. Location: VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
