Site work for a water / sewer project in Nome, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the City of Nome, Texas – ARPA Elevated Water Storage Tank (Contract A). The project generally includes installation of an all-welded steel AWWA D-100-05 elevated water storage tank with a base bid capacity of 50,000 gallons, with additive alternate bids for 75,000 and 100,000 gallon capacities. An alternate bid for a bolted elevated storage tank meeting AWWA standards is also included, along with all improvements necessary for a complete installation as specified in the plans and contract documents. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank made payable to the City of Nome, or a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents and include a Contractor Qualification Statement. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to contract award. The City of Nome reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
