The Escambia County Department of Waste Services is seeking a licensed contractor to install walls for an interior buildout of 735 square feet within an existing pre-manufactured metal building. The scope of work includes structural framing, ceilings, fixtures, doorways, windows, insulation, flooring, plumbing and fixtures, and HVAC installation for the interior. For the exterior, the work includes adding awnings over door openings, plumbing, and lighting. The building will be utilized as a warehouse for vehicles with storage, office space, and restrooms. Plumbing is already installed within the slab and stubbed up accordingly. Interior work includes an office space, water quality laboratory, standard restroom, ADA compliant restroom, mechanical closet for hvac, water heater and electrical panel, IT closet, and lighting for the buildout and warehouse area. Exterior work consists of the installation awnings, security doors and lighting. Electrical, septic, and water line connections will need to be made. Contractor is responsible for all materials, labor, equipment, and permitting necessary to complete the work in its entirety. Ancillary items such as water lab sinks, bathroom fixtures, mirrors, etc shall be included in the bid. All materials utilized should match the interior and exterior of the existing administration building as much as possible, except for interior lighting. Construction waste generated will be the responsibility of the contractor and is to be disposed of properly. All requests for changes must be submitted in writing and receive written approval prior to proceeding with any changes.
