Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Keene, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Replace asphalt sidewalks with 4-inch and 8-inch thick concrete on Blossom St., Gardner St., Harrison St., Jennison St., and Willow St. Work includes excavation, subgrade preparation, placement and compaction of base gravels, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete sidewalks, asphalt patch, loam and seed. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of: $ _500______ for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion $ ____500___for each calendar day of delay from the date established for contract completion Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed" as follows: 75 calendar days for substantial completion 105 calendar days for contract completion The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of his bid. Each BID must be accompanied by a BID bond payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the BID. A certified check may be used in lieu of a BID BOND. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive technical or legal deficiencies, and accept any proposal that it deems in the best interest of the City.
