As of April 01, 2026, project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The scope of work includes the reconstruction of Lake Shore Drive and Mequon Road. Major work items include approximately 19,500 SY of pulverizing asphalt pavement, 3,600 CY of common excavation for roadside ditches, 350 tons of aggregate base course for roadway shoulders, 1,400 tons of 1-1/4 inch aggregate base course for roadway widening, 1,500 tons of 3-inch aggregate for roadway widening, 3,150 tons and 1,900 tons of asphalt binder and surface course for roadway repaving, 11,000 LF of pavement marking, 750 LF of bioswales, and 14,000 SY of topsoil respread and seeding. This is a unit price contract. Bids must be submitted electronically , with all blanks filled in. Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of 5 percent of the Bidders maximum Bid price is required. Successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) must list all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work, disregard nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner.
