The work involves improvements at the intersection of SR 1 and DE 26, as detailed in the project plans. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked as follows: Sealed Bid - Proposal for SR-1 Pedestrian Crossing, Project Number 2026-03. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Office of the Town Manager by emailing the provided contact. Questions regarding the bidding process must be submitted by email before noon on the specified date. Responses, if necessary, will be issued as an addendum to all plan holders. The Bethany Beach SR-1 Pedestrian Crossing project consists furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to construct the proposed intersection improvements, including pedestrian facilities, striping, and signal improvements, in the Incorporated Town of Bethany Beach as detailed in the project plans, this project manual and any and all addendums issued by the Owner . Construction of this contract shall conform to the Delaware Department of Transportation Standard Specifications January 2025, the project manual, special provisions, and the plans.
