The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to full roof replacement to deck of existing Roof B and existing roof of existing roof-access tower. Roof access tower to receive new door, frame and sill to accommodate new roof insulation height. New roof ladders to be added to roof access tower., as indicated by the drawings and specifications. The full project scope is defined in the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted in person, by mail, or by delivery service, and must be sealed and clearly marked. Bidders must use the bid forms prepared by the Architect. Bidders and subcontractors must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in required classifications. Certificates and affidavits regarding prequalification, ownership disclosure, business registration, and non-debarment status must be submitted as specified. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified/cashier's check and a Consent of Surety certificate are required. No modifications to the instructions, general conditions, or specifications are permitted except by addenda. Bids proposing modifications may be rejected as non-responsive. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Question deadline date 11 March 2026 - Interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written Addenda, Bulletins, or Clarifications to the Specifications, which if issued, will be mailed by certified or registered mail with return receipt requested, or sent by facsimile to all bidders of record, not later than seven (7) days prior to the date of the Bid Opening, Holidays and Weekends excepted or sent by a delivery service that provides certification of delivery within such timeframe.
