Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Millburn, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The existing Municipal Building was environmentally remediated under a separate Contract, during which substantial portions of its interior were demolished. Because these are the conditions with which the General Contractor will have to work, bidders are being given two opportunities to walk through the building and observe its conditions. Although bidders are not required to inspect the building, they are strongly encouraged to do so, as submission of a Bid constitutes a representation by Bidder that he has familiarized itself with all existing conditions and construction. Reference Number 0000427739 The proposed Work includes, but is not limited to, the provision of all labor, materials, services, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to construct and complete the Project. The Work is required to be completed within 450 calendar days of the Contract Award.
