Renovation of an educational facility in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Improvements to music classrooms and practice labs at the Greenhill Center of the Arts, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The project is overseen by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Administration, Division of Facilities Development. All potential bidders must be certified by the Department of Administration prior to submitting bids for state construction projects exceeding $100,000; uncertified contractor bids will be rejected. Certification applications and instructions are available from the DOA website or upon request. The project uses a single prime bidding and contracting process: the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP) divisions of work are bid first, with successful MEP bids identified and required to be included in all general prime contractor bids. The general prime contractor will enter into subcontracts with successful MEP bidders. Sealed bids must be submitted via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (PDF format preferred), US Mail, third-party delivery, or by hand delivery to the designated location. Bidders are responsible for ensuring their bid is delivered to the specified location or portal before the submission deadline. Bid opening will be conducted via Microsoft Teams teleconference.
