Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Newton, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The work consists of furnishing supplies, equipment, and services for the DMACC Legacy Plaza, Pavilion and Sunshades project in Newton, Iowa. The contract is a single prime contract for sidewalks, power, lighting, storm sewer, and other infrastructure improvements. Bids must be submitted on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids are not accepted. Work will begin upon award of contract and must be completed in one phase as shown in the contract documents. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond written on an original AIA document A310, Bid Bond is required. The successful bidder must provide surety performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract sum. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and enter into a contract deemed in the best interest of the owner. Preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa.
